Vineyard Notes
Mineral Springs Ranch (MSR) is a 250-acre Biodynamic farm and vineyard in the heart of Oregon wine country. Mineral Springs Vineyard consists of 50 acres of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay situated along the ridge line of the property. The combination of respectful farming, ancient marine soils, and temperate climate, result in wines that are layered, nuanced, and captivating while expressing their singular place of origin. We have been producing traditional method sparkling wines since our first vintage in 1997. Every step of winegrowing and production is done in-house by our team led by Winemaker Chris Fladwood, and Winegrower Tony Soter.
Tasting Notes
The wine was crafted by Soter Vineyards' Winemaker Chris Fladwood and is made entirely from Mineral Springs Pinot Noir. Its unembellished style is intentional - an expression of quiet strength and enduring grace. In this second release, we honor our visionary founder, Michelle Soter, whose natural beauty was matched only by her clarity of purpose. This enigmatic wine is more than a tribute; it is a reflection of the values she lived by: authenticity over artifice, integrity over ease, and a devotion to the land and community that continues to guide us today. With remarkable freshness preserved through time on the lees and a delicate floral lift, this release carries uncommon grace. Each glass carries forward her legacy, celebrating not just what she created, but the spirit she instilled everyone she met. Tony believes it may be the finest sparkling we’ve shared in the past 25 years.
